Scope and Content Note
Mrs. Clarke was heavily involved with the Red Cross through the Federation of Women’s Clubs. She was key in gaining support for driver education for women in order to help with war relief. She also sewed surgical dressings to send overseas, helped raise money to support troops, and supported thrift and war stamps. This series includes correspondence, published materials, clippings, committee notes, and a ledger.
