Series II: Papers of James Campbell, 1835-1877
Scope and Contents
This series consists of papers from Nathaniel Foote's father in law, James Campbell, and his law practice. The papers consist of correspondence, mortgages and deeds, and legal papers. They date from the 1830s to 1877. The unusual labeling on the folders comes from combining the labels they had in the original boxes with secondary labels describing their contents.
