Content Description
This collection consists of over 10,000 postcards collected by Rochester native David "Josh" Canfield from 1966 to 2021. The extensive collection includes numerous variant printings and private issues. The majority of this material consists of historic postcards showing diverse locations in Rochester with a large quantity of the collection printed by Stecher Lithographic Company, a local business in Rochester. In addition to this, a series of modern postcards can be found which consist of advertisements, announcements and promotions.

Abstract
This series consists of modern (late 1900s/early 2000s) advertising postcards from Rochester, New York. Postcards in this series were donated without prior organization. They have been arranged using the subject headings utilized by the Rochester Public Library's postcard collection.
