Immediate Source of Acquisition

From Matt Filipski, Clerk at the Mendon Library who received these albums:

On Tuesday, December 27, 2022, a patron came into the Mendon Public Library with 3 old photo books. She told me that her mother had found these books somewhere in the City of Rochester and that upon her mother's death, she took possession of the books. The patron did not know the names of anyone in the photos. She no longer had any use for the books and asked that I send them downtown to the Local History department of the Central Library to see if they were interested in them. The patron did not leave any contact info with me before leaving the library. I got the impression from her that she wanted the books to go to a good home and was not interested in getting them back.
