This collection documents the professional life of John Adams Lowe, a noted library administrator who served as director of the Rochester (N.Y.) Public Library from 1932 to 1952. The collection includes materials dating from 1916 to 1950. It includes typescripts of books by Lowe, a scrapbook, and other professional papers and speeches. (Accession no. 2019.023)
