Postage stamps and letters, 1983-2002

This series consists of non-postcard ephemera that David Canfield donated from his personal collection. Much, though far from all, of the contents of this series is related in some manner to Rochester postal or transportation history. Materials in this series include photographs, documents, pamphlets, broadsides, and other advertising. A copy of the Rochester Evening Express of February 17, 1868 was separated from this series and is stored with the Historic Newspaper Collection due to its size and condition.
