Dr. Alice Holloway Young was a pioneering African-American educator and administrator with the Rochester City School District and a founding trustee of Monroe Community College. This collection consists of 5 .WAV audio files containing interviews with Dr. Alice Holloway Young conducted by Christine Christopher in July and August of 2018. The interviews provide wide-ranging autobiographical information about Dr. Young. The collection also includes transcripts of interviews carried out by Carolyn Edwards on September 2, 1998.
