This series consists of primarily business papers produced by Mortimer Frederick Delano, a pioneer lawyer in the Rochester area. Delano was a leader in the development of the Rochester bar, along with being one of the leaders of village of Pittsford at its foundation. The papers include numerous bills and receipts, letters, court documents and other business records. They also include Delano's certifications to practice before various courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States.
