This collection primarily consists of pamphlets and flyers promoting Rochester Sesquicentennial (1984) events. The contents of the collection consist of a group of materials given to the library in a single envelope mailed from Rochester Sesquicentennial Inc. - i.e., as a public relations packet. The pamphlets and flyers include promotions for special events, publications on Rochester history, and other ephemera. A few later items are present; they appear to have been added to the ephemera before it was given to the Office of the City Historian.
