The material in this collection relates to Gorsline's time as one of the top building contractors in the Rochester, New York area. Gorsline was known for being entrusted with erecting many of the important private and public, buildings for which Rochester is known.
The materials in this collection date between 1867 and 1890, and consist of financial and legal documents, as well as correspondence relating to Gorsline's various building projects.
