Scope and Contents
The material in this sub-collection relate to Pearce's activities outside of WXXI. Pearce was involved with the Native American Public Telecommunications group, the Philosophers Club, and involved with many different productions such as Forgotten Founders.
Correspondence, notes, meeting minutes, proposals, and research papers document how involved in the world of education Pearce was. Pearce was also involved in organizing the USS Windsor reunions every year. Pearce was in the navy during World War II and served on the USS Windsor from 1943 to 1946.

Abstract
This sub-collection consists of the papers collected by William Pearce outside of his time at WXXI. The materials date between 1936 and 2011 with a bulk of the materials dating between 1990 and 2010. The papers are comprised of correspondence, proposals, notes, scripts, and research papers.
