Biographical Note
Al-Farabi Ishaq is a former Washington, D.C. social worker and collector of African-American historical memorabilia. He visited Rochester, New York for the dedication of a historical marker in front of Frederick Douglass' Hamilton Street home, and gifted his personal collection of Douglass memorabilia to the Rochester Public Library at that time.

Condition Description
First day covers are excellent, like-new objects. Two of the quarters are uncirculated specimens from the Denver and San Francisco mints; the other two are high-grade circulated coins, both from the Philadelphia mint.
