Consists of the papers of Howard T. Mosher, Rochester, New York based attorney. Mosher was a member of the New York State Workmen's Compensation Committee. The materials consists of blank workmen's compensation forms, periodicals, legislative bills, and a report.

Biographical / Historical

Howard T. Mosher was born in Albany N.Y. in July 1868 to Jacob Simmons Mosher and Emma Starr Montgomery. Howard would attend the Albany Military Academy, and soon after Union College where he graduated in 1890. Howard was very active with both politics and law while in Rochester N.Y. where he studied law. He was active in local politics in Rochester from 1904-1916 where he sat as a chairman of the Democratic County Committee and was a delagate to the Democratic National Convention in 1916. He also was a member of he NYS Prison Reform Commission as well as the Workmans Compensation Commission. Howard would pass away in February 1919.
