The first item is a deed for property in Shelby, Orleans County, New York sold by John Hoyt to Isaac F. Leeland, and dated July 23, 1844. The second item is a deed for property in Phelps, Ontario County, New York sold by Richard F. Flint to Isaac F. Leeland, and dated May 8, 1847. The third item is a deed for property in Phelps, Ontario County, New York sold by John C. and Ana E. Nest to Isaac F. Leeland, and dated December 4, 1849. The fourth item is a letter from Mary Ann Parker of Eagle Harbor to Isaac Leeland, and dated January 8th 1855. The fifth item is a deed for property in Phelps, Ontario County, New York sold by Alonzo H. Raney to James H. Stubbins, and dated August 30, 1844.

Biographical / Historical
Isaac F. Leeland (frequently spelled "Leland") was born August 29, 1800 and died September 7, 1876. He is buried in Melvin Hill Cemetery, Phelps, Ontario County, New York. He had two children with his first wife Vilura Leeland. Their names were Orson N. Leland, and Oscar M. Leland. After Vilura's death, Isaac married Rebecca C. Leland. He is listed on the 1870 census as a retired farmer.
