Biographical / Historical

There is limited information available about Daniel C. Howell. Daniel C. Howell was born in 1818 in Steuben N.Y. Daniel served as a cashier at the Steuben Co. Bank and worked his way up to President of the bank in 1869. He also was an active Democratic politician and held several public offices such as Superintendent under Gov. Hoffman. He would pass away in 1893 at 65 years of age.
