Biographical / Historical
There is limited information available about William H. Brown. William was born in 1838. In August of 1862 William enlisted into military at the age of 26. He began his career in the military as a private but mustered into Company I, 140th NY Volunteers Infanty in September of 1862. He was mustered out in June of 1865 at Alexandria VA. William would pass away in May of 1895.
