Biographical / Historical

Cyrus C. Wells was born in Independence Pennsylvania in August of 1870. Cyrus became a well known lawyer in the Rochester area and spent time as a secretary of the U.S. Shipbuilding company. He was also known as a close friend of the writer and playwright Mrs. Frances Hogson Bennett. Cyrus would pass away in June 1932 in Rochester N.Y. and is buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
