Biographical / Historical

Dr. William B. Carman was born in 1857 in Peoria, Illinois. William attended college at the University of Illinois and the Chicago Hahnemann College and Hospital, graduating in 1884. He came to Rochester N.Y. in March 1884 and joined the Second Baptist Church as a member and director of the church choir where he served from 1884 to 1889. He later served as a deacon and was appointed a deacon for life in January 1920. He passed away at his home in Rochester N.Y. in November 1933. He is buried in Pittsford N.Y.

There is little information found about Olive M. Carman other than she was born in January 1892 and passed away in October 1963.
