This collection consists of 52 pin-back buttons. All of the buttons are from Rochester, New York, with most either from LGBTQ+ organizations or in support of LGBTQ+ causes.

Biographical / Historical
Marie Gibson and Peggy Meeker are two LGBTQ activists in the Rochester, N.Y. area. Marie is an ordained elder in the Presbyterian church, and her wife Peggy is a Unitarian Universalist Minister. Both Marie and Peggy have been LGBTQ activists since the 1970s and still continue to advocate for both LGBTQ and womens rights. The collection of pins are almost entirely comprised of LGBTQ right and themes, equal rights, and womens rights pins. There are several commemorative pins to historic marches and protests in Washington D.C.
