Pin promoting School Number 31, Rochester New York. According to the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County, Historic Monographs Collection, School 31 was named for Alexander Hamilton, and was erected at the northwest corner of University Avenue and Merriman Street until 1922. The pin was provided by Duffy-McInnerney Company, according to the pin front. The pinback indicates that the Bastian Brothers Company manufactured the pin.

Red and white pin, promoting Franklin High School in Rochester, New York. Benjamin Franklin High School. according to the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County, Historic Monographs Collection, was built in 1916 to alleviate overcrowding at East High School. At the time it was the largest school building in the city. In 1930, more than 3,400 students attended Franklin High School on Norton Street.
