AIDS activists--New York (State)--Rochester

The John Washburn papers consist of documents, audiovisual materials, and ephemera that primarily document Washburn's experience as the public face of the AIDS epidemic in Rochester. Much of material consists of interviews, both copies of print interviews and filmed interviews on VHS tapes. Materials in the collection date from 1985 to 2019, wiith the bulk dating from 1988 and 1989.
