This collection consists of records from William Summerhays Sons, a masonry and chimney services company formerly located in Rochester, New York. Founded in 1856 by English immigrant mason William Summerhays, the company long focused on work involving refractory (high temperature) brick, such as industrial ovens and chimneys.
