Provenance

Found in Document Case 15; donation history unknown. Rochester businessman Alexander B. Lamberton married the widow of Obed Hussey, Eunice (nee Starbuck), and her daughter Martha lived out her life in Rochester. They served as informants to Follett L. Greeno, who biographed Obed Hussey in 1912 (Obed Hussey: Who, Of All Inventors, Made Bread Cheap). These materials conceivably originated with this Rochester branch of the Hussey family.
