He was best known for inventing an individual communion cup, but this was only one of numerous inventions and apparatus he created. Forbes taught at Macalester College and at Columbia University, along with operating several business enterprises. The materials in in this collection include two scrapbooks, along with loose scraps and newspaper clippings regarding his inventions. These materials date between 1915 and 1917.
