Series I: Frederick Douglass Research, Undated
Content Description
This collection consists of two bodies of material. First, there are scripts, research notes, and images collected for tours that Schuler created related to the history of the Maplewood neighborhood and Maplewood Park. Second, Schuler served as an unofficial photographer for Rochester's 2001 Horses on Parade public art project, connecting with the artists to document the horses' creation and to record many of them on display. The collection includes hundreds of both photographic prints and negatives documenting the creation and public display of the fiberglass horses. Also included is a signed and dedicated copy of official book on the topic.
