Scope and Contents

This series consists of materials collected by Richard "Dick" Jefferson, affiliated with the LBGTQ community in Rochester, New York. The materials date between 1986 and 1996. The materials consist of photographs and postcards documenting the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt and the lesbian and gay community of the 19th Ward in Rochester, New York. Included with the photographs are handwritten notes providing limited contextual information. Also included are newspaper clippings documenting the public display of the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt at Monroe Community College in 1984.
