Scope and Contents

This series consists of the papers of Tawn Feeny, affiliated with the LBGTQ community in Rochester, New York. The materials date between 1978 and 1980. The materials consist of correspondence between the Mothers of Males and the We Want Music Collective regarding the state of childcare for male children at the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival. Also included are a pamphlet for the 5th Michigan Womyn's Musical Festival and a booklet titled "The Answer is Matriarchy" by Barbara Love and Elizabeth Shanklin. Materials also include posters for the 1978 Women's Halloween Dance and a Fourth of July performance by Kathie Reilly & The Mockettes presented by Snake Sisters.
