Scope and Contents

This series contains one scrapbook that contains newspaper clippings from 1936. It includes events that happened in 1936 such as the Johnstown Flood, snow storms, and events that would lead to World War II (particularly in Japan), along with articles that followed the news of King Edward VIII and his path to abdication of the throne.

Physical Description

This scrapbook is in very fragile condition, handeling should be limited, will need to be photocopied. Edges of the paper are deteriorating and the newspaper clippings are becoming unglued.
