Administrative History
The Finger Lakes chapter of Lambda Amateur Radio Club, is a chapter of the international, non-profit organization of amateur radio operators (hams), short wave radio listeners, and persons interested in amateur radio, electronics and computers most of whom are members of sexual minorities.
LARC’s primary objective includes: to promote radio knowledge and proficiency among the gay and lesbian community; provide public service in connection with parades and other activities; and offer a shared sense of technical expertise, social responsibility, and friendly camaraderie.
