This collection consists of a series of letters written between Elston Holton who was a traveling salesman and his wife and daughter Gladys and Jane Holton between 1934-1938. Elston worked for the Webaco oil company selling dried apples across the United States.

Biographical / Historical
Elston Holton was born on November 1 1897. Not much information is available about Elston Holton. He was married to Gladys Holton who was a well known Rochester historian who was well known in museums around Rochester N.Y. Elston worked as a traveling salesman for the Webaco Oil Company who had a branch in Webster N.Y. Elston would pass away on December 16 1962 at the Strong Memorial Hospital.
