Biographical / Historical
Abner Dexter Jennings was born June 27, 1797 in Bristol County Massachusetts. He died Mar 11, 1875 in Rochester New York and is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery. He was married to Clarissa Kilbourn Jennings (1800-1856) in 1819. The two had 5 children. According to census records Abner lived in Irondequoit until his death in 1875. Abner was an early pioneer of Irondequoit who attended the first town meeting held April 2, 1839 and served as a Justice of the Peace.
William T. Moore was born in 1820 and died December 27, 1898. He is buried in Mount Albion Cemetery in Albion, Orleans County, New York. He was married to Anginett Anderson Moore (1821-1888). They had two children. According to census records he owned land and lived in Irondequoit from 1855-1880.
