Julia Sauer Papers
This collection consists of the personal and professional papers of Julia Sauer, a notable children's author (2-time Newbery honoree) and head of the Work with Children Department at the Rochester Public Library. Sauer's papers include correspondence, typescripts of her writings, radio scripts, clippings, photographs and other ephemera. The materials date between 1917 and 1961, with the bulk between 1936 and 1956.

Lisa Wemett Slide Collection
This collection consists of 75 35mm slides. The slides include images of branches of the Rochester Public Library system; architectural design work by James H. Johnson on the Phyllis Wheatley Branch Library, and a set of promotion slides created by the Rochester Chamber of Commerce.

Mary (Manuel) Masterson Papers
This collection consists of correspondence, photographs, postcards and ephemera from Mary (Manuel) Masterson's sojourn in Rochester, New York on a professional exchange program between the Leyton Library (UK) and the Rochester Public Library in 1948 and 1949. A few objects pertaining to her childhood and to later travels extend the inclusive dates of the collection frm 1932 to 1952.

This collection consists of records from and materials related to the Reynolds Library of Rochester, New York. Due to a lack of provenance, this may be an artificial collection. Materials in the collection include ledger books, operating records, manuscripts, and correspondence. The materials date from 1879 to 1935.
Reynolds Library/Rochester Public Library Records
This collection consists of materials related to the founding of the Rochester Public Library and the union of Reynolds Library and the City Library, along with the construction of the Rundel building. The materials include documents, photos, and clippings. The collection includes the Reynolds Library 1884 Act of Incorporation and 1931 court proceedings against the City regarding the Rundel donation. The collection as a whole dates between 1884 and 1944.

This series is comprised of Rochester City Historian Blake McKelvey's research notes used to write his four volume history of Rochester, New York. The materials were assembled between 1937 and 1970. The series includes handwritten transcriptions of newspaper articles and journals; newspaper clippings, source and illustration citations, pamphlets, and notes.
