Content Description This is an artificial collection consisting of early (pre-World War I) photographic material mostly from the Rochester, New York area. The collection contains cabinet cards, cartes de visite, photographic prints, and tin types dating from 1850 to 1910; along with copy negatives dated 1920 to 1970. Scope and Contents From the Series:

Series III consists of photographs including tin types, cartes de visite and cabinet cards, all in fair to excellent condition. Albums were donated to the Mendon Public Library and then transferred to the Central Library. Photographic studio's mark on reverse indicated that most are from Rochester, NY and surrounding area.
