Scope and Contents

This collection consists of the papers of Algernon Sidney and Adelaide Trowbridge Crapsey. Algernon was an Episcopal priest defrocked for heresy in 1906, while his wfe, Adelaide Trowbridge, was a successful businesswoman. Their daughter, Adelaide, was a noted poet before her premature death. This collection consists of their personal papers, including correspondence, publications and manuscripts. The materials date between 1894 and 1944.

Abstract This collection includes the published and personal works of Joseph O'Connor, his wife Evangeline O'Connor, and their daughter Evelyn O'Connor. In addition to personal journals, letters, and other paper ephemera, this collection includes newspaper clippings from 'The Rochesterian', 'The Indianapolis Sentinel', The Rochester Post Express', and 'The Buffalo Courier'. Abstract

This collection consists of the personal papers of Susan Jordan, a feminist, LGBTQ+ rights activist, and social justice advocate based in Rochester, New York. The materials date between 1977 and 2018 with the bulk of materials dating between 1977 and 1990. The papers are comprised of scrapbooks of newspaper clippings, an unpublished poetry manuscript, and a bound volume of poetry. The scrapbooks have been digitized and are accessible as PDF files.
