Ledger
Small leather-bound Excelsior diary detailing daily agricultural transactions in Monroe County. The ledger book is anonymous, but can be traced to western New York through geographic references. It dates from 1879.
Myra B. Fox diary
Diary of Myra B. Fox for the year 1877. According to the donor, Miss Fox was a resident of Violetta Street. However, a search of census records suggests that she actually lived in Moravia, Cayauga County at that time, and later moved to Rochester.
Sub-series H: Research notes, 1937-1970
This series is comprised of Rochester City Historian Blake McKelvey's research notes used to write his four volume history of Rochester, New York. The materials were assembled between 1937 and 1970. The series includes handwritten transcriptions of newspaper articles and journals; newspaper clippings, source and illustration citations, pamphlets, and notes.

Susan Kinsey collection of 19th century Monroe County diaries
This collection consists of two diaries from rural Monroe County in the mid-to-late ninteenth century. The diary of George Gallup dates from 1848 to 1858 and was written in Sweden, New York, while the diary of Frank and Rosa Rowley was written in Hilton, New York, between 1885 and 1889. The diaries discuss the daily activities of the authors during these years.
