Content Description

Consists of 8 disc records of the earliest out gay musicians such as, Chris Robinson, Lavender Country, Meg Christian, Michael Cohen, Paul Wagner, and Steven Grossman. The collection also includes two photographs both of Bruce Jewell. Jewell, founder and host of Green Thursday (radio program on WCMF) and host of Lesbian Nation radio program.

Scope and Contents

This collection consists of scripts for the library's weekly radio broadcast on WHEC, and includes records from the library's radio committee. The materials in the collection date from 1931 to 1959.

Abstract

This sub-collection consists of the papers collected during William J. Pearce's time as General Manager of WXXI, Rochester, New York. The materials date between 1935 to 1999, with the bulk of materials dating between 1970 and 1996. The papers are comprised of photographs, newspaper clippings, correspondence, financial records, and programming notes.
