This collection consists of seven cabinet card photographs taken in Rochester, New York, circa 1885-1890. The cabinet cards are all anonymous portraits, but 6 of the 7 identify the photographer.

Content Description This collection consists of materials collected by Rochesterian David Kyle through his interest in local history and employment by Gutenberg Books. The materials include several different groups of items, only some of which are retained in the final David Kyle collection. Content Description This unique collection of almost 325 prints in stereoscopic views, centers mainly on photographs taken in the Rochester, New York area between 1865 and 1900. Supplementing this collection are stereographs from other regions of New York State and other states. Very few items are unidentified.
