Hacker, Director of the Rochester Public Library from 1954 to 1978 and the "father of WXXI", the first noncommercial public broadcasting television station in the Rochester area. Rochester Athletic Club Collection
Notes, ephemera, receipts for annual dues, and incorporation share receipts from the Rochester Athletic Club, 1888 to 1894. The collection also includes receipts from stock sales in the Rochester Athletic Association from 1877. It is unclear how these materials came to be intermingled in this collection, as the two organizations do not appear to have been connected in any way.

This series is comprised of Rochester City Historian Blake McKelvey's research notes used to write his four volume history of Rochester, New York. The materials were assembled between 1937 and 1970. The series includes handwritten transcriptions of newspaper articles and journals; newspaper clippings, source and illustration citations, pamphlets, and notes.
